On Saturday, 1 March 2014, ESI will be teaming up with Explore UT for a special edition talk entitled Space Exploration: From Science Fiction to the Texas Spacecraft Laboratory, with Dr. Glenn Lightsey. Dr. Lightsey is the Founder and Director of the Texas Spacecraft Lab at The University of Texas, which designs, builds, and operates satellites with undergraduate and graduate students. He specializes in the dynamics and control of space vehicles using avionics sensors such as the Global Positioning System for navigation and attitude determination.
